Depending on each participant and host organization’s needs, the duration of an internship program can last between two to six months. Our programs run based on local visa regulations. As a result, the internship program duration may depend upon country-specific visa requirements. Please note that participants will not apply for a local visa for virtual internship options. If you have any questions about participating in a shorter or longer internship experience, please reach out to our team at
All prospective applicants should speak with their academic advisor to inquire if our program offerings meet their desired academic requirements. Our internship programs offer support to participants who are studying at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The Global U Internships team will provide any additional assistance needed to obtain documentation a university may need to meet a participant’s academic requirements. However, Global U Internships is not liable to ensure that a participant’s internship program is approved by their university.

Step 5. Host Company Interview

We will forward your CV (in English), admissions interview, and English language test result to the company for review. Please note that the host organization interview will be held via a video-conferencing application, such as Skype.
